1st Day of Chemotherapy

Jon had his first run of chemotherapy yesterday. He was there at 7am sharp and left at 1130. He is now connected to a chemo med, which infuses until tommorrow morning. He is feeling okay, with a couple bouts of nausea. He has experienced some tingling in his hands and legs (a side effect of one of the meds). He continues to work on his challenging diet. The colo-rectal surgeon gave him the okay to advance his diet. Aunt Glady and Uncle Dick are currently staying at the house & have been a great help. Thanks for your continual support...

Hey Jon,

Good luck/health charms are coming your way from Chinatown. My friends all swear they work.

Keep that wonderful smile on your face and I'll see you soon.

Hello Jon,

I want to thank you for bringing the "cool" factor into my life. Believe it or not, I have never blogged before. Is blog even a verb?

The whole Heille klan has been asking about your health and we try to keep up with your progress. This blog will really help.

I just want you to know how much you are loved by our family. There is not a day that goes by that the Heille girls aren't asking, "How's Jon doing? What can we do to help?"

So, if you need/want anything...call or email us.

Love,
Joyce

Just a quick note to let you know that we are all thinking of you.

Your ordeal has been a wake up call to a lot of us. I personally will be thinking of you at 7:00 am at Abbott on Monday.

Has your other friend made his appointment???

Please let us know if you need anything.

Love,

Greg
